Located in the suburb of Vouliagmeni, Kavouri is a pine-covered peninsula lined with luxurious villas. Several sandy beaches are perfect for swimming, with Megalo Kavouri being the most popular. It’s organized with sunbeds for rent and free areas to enjoy. Like many Greek beaches, you’ll see plenty of people playing “raketes” (beach paddle ball) in the open space behind the shore. The sandy beach offers shallow waters for a long distance, with plenty of spots to grab a refreshment. It’s easily accessible by public transport, with the metro to Elliniko station followed by the 122 bus.
